Day #2 – Chasing my goals w/no excuses

I ran 4 miles today. Actually, I walked 3 and ran the 4th. I try to get some running in on the treadmill while I work on my laptop. It’s a hookup that works great for busy mornings which allow me to still get some mileage in.

Yesterday I ran 5 miles and I rode about 12 on my bike. I felt great.

I woke up with a headache around 5AM this morning due to the lack of sugar. Then I went back to sleep and woke up late (7:30AM). So I had to rush around to get kids to camp, etc etc.

I’m still going strong with the no sugar, clean eating. I follow the 17 day diet format so right now I’m on day 2. No carbs to speak of really, except those in select fruits and my veggies.

I didn’t have any junkfood or wine last night. Tonight will be another test of my will, and I intend to ace it.

Hope everyone else in the diet-o-sphere is handing in there and fighting the fight.
