Today, I am going to kill it with activity! I’m so geeking out about this.

First, I will do about 4 miles on the treadmill. It will be very laid back, as I will do 2-3miles of just walking a 2.5 mile pace while I work on my laptop. Then I will run the last 1-2 miles.

After that I am going to bike about 20 miles with a new meetup group I just joined. It’s a 15-18 mph pace, so I am super excited. This is the first time I do more than 12 miles, so I am psyched!

On my last ride, which I did with another group, I really didn’t feel too challenged, but it was a nice 12 mile ride. So I figured I needed to up the mileage and the speed. I’m going to take my knee brace, cause I have a feeling this one wont be too easy, which is what I really want.

I looked into the calories burned for a 2 hour ride for 20 miles, and it was almost 2,000 calories. I think this is where I am mostly failing. I do my exercises EVERY day, but I don’t up my caloric intake, so by the evening when I finally wind down and can focus on myself, I get very hungry and I go crazy.

My solution is to always have hard boiled eggs with no yellows, on hand at all times as well as some chicken and carrots. This way, I can feed myself, but the good, non carb stuff.

If after a week this does not work, then I am going to a dietitian.

Happy Thursday!
